About this project

In one sentence, what are you building?

A business manager says, “The fridge is down. Get it fixed before lunch, for under £500.” Yaler turns that mandate into action — finding and verifying a local engineer, negotiating and booking the repair, and leaving a verified receipt behind. No phone calls. No chasing. No blank cheque.

What problem are you solving?

Businesses lose hundreds of pounds/dollars an hour when critical equipment fails, but getting it fixed still requires humans to search, call, negotiate, verify suppliers, and coordinate the job. AI can already search and communicate. It still can't safely spend a company's money in the physical world. Yaler is the control layer between “something is broken” and “it's fixed.” A manager gives the agent a mandate — what needs doing, where, by when, and the maximum they're willing to spend. Yaler can then act autonomously within those boundaries, enforcing supplier verification, budget limits, and escalation rules. We start with restaurant equipment because the pain is immediate and measurable. The same primitive applies to HVAC, boilers, forklifts, roofs, inspections, maintenance, and any other physical service a business needs to procure. And as physical AI becomes capable of doing more of this work itself, the executor can change from human → robot → autonomous physical agent. The mandate doesn't have to.
